Meet the Author
Jeannine Anderson, MA, LPC, LAC, DVCS, ACS, is a forensic psychotherapist with nearly 20 years of clinical and forensic experience specializing in domestic violence, coercive control, trauma, and psychopathy. She has conducted thousands of forensic evaluations in criminal and civil cases. She participates in conversations on intimate partner violence on a state and national level through speaking engagements and trainings.
Jeannine is a clinical director, the founder of Firefly Hope Collective, and co-host of the Forensic Friday podcast, sharing hot takes on true crime from an expert psychological lens with humor and heart.
She lives in Colorado with her husband, Garrett, her son, Mac, and their fur babies, Honey and Bear. Even her dogs reflect the range of her world — a golden retriever and a pitbull mutt, sweetness and stigma curled up on the same couch. She drives the safest car on the road and is, for the record, not a cupcake.
So here's how it started: two forensic besties, deep in the work with Colorado's highest-risk and least-recognized offenders. What happened next is the kind of story you can't make up.
